The Practice
I’ve been a working artist since 1990 when I graduated with a BFA from Rutgers. As a young college graduate I entertained elaborate visions of fame and fortune but to date I have neither. What I do possess, after decades of practice, is the notion that I have so much more to learn. This state of being a student has helped me to remain curious, open and rigorous in the daily practice of being an artist. It has also ensured that potentially blinding delusions of grandeur remain out of sight.
